Valencia is most commonly recognized as being the home of some of Santiago Calatrava's most amazing buildings. An entire area of the city named "City of Arts and Sciences" has been designed by him which consists of a science museum, an IMAX cinema, an oceanographic park, all of which look like buildings from a science fiction movie and not quite from this world. Numerous films and commercials have been filmed here due to the inspiring and modern architecture.
