Gay Homestays marketing campaign
Pink Bookings SL, the company which owns Gay Homestays, is a new and exciting company, created in June 2009 and based in Barcelona. Our vision at Pink Bookings is to develop a global private accommodation service providing safe and affordable accommodation to gay men and women from all over the world and to inspire amazing holiday experiences based on cross-cultural sharing and encounters.
We take the view that holiday-time is very important to our customers, therefore our future aim is to offer a unique range of travel services and fun activities, at the best possible rates. These will include theatre tickets, restaurants, complimentary therapies and other tourist activities which our customers will be able to book online.
Phase one saw the launch of Gay Homestays in December 2009 with the aim of providing high quality, reasonably priced, gay accommodation in all the major European cities. At a time of tight budgets and limited finances we are committed to ensuring cost remain as low as possible and as such we will never ask our customers to pay a booking fee, preferring instead for our customers to spend their money on enjoying their holidays.
Unlike the impersonal hotels Gay Homestays provides a unique and special experience by connecting gay travellers with local people in a spirit of friendship, cultural exchange, and learning. Our hosts are enriched by the opportunity of meeting people from all over the world and our customers benefit from being able to participate in the local life of the places they visit.
In addition, recognising that the internet is the fundamental tool for travellers worldwide to plan and search for things to do and see whilst away on holiday, in our ‘Offers and Promotions’ section we have linked with local gay businesses to offer our customers great deals at their chosen destination.
Following the Gay Homestays launch the company is now gearing up for the 2010 holiday season by engaging in an extensive marketing campaign which will see press and magazine releases, internet advertising and an extensive flyering campaign.
