 
Registered Nurse (semi retired) living in San Diego for the last 32 years. Originally from Minnesota (you betcha)! I like to travel a lot to see different places and meet the locals. Explore new and exciting places, but I have to say San Diego is my favorite place for a lot of reasons! You have every kind of venue you could want at your fingertips (another country, Mexico is 17 miles from my front door, the mountains and desert is a 1 hour drive, and the beaches and harbor are just minutes away), but Hillcrest (the Gayborhood) is my favorite. It is not as overkill as the Castro area, or crowded like LA. Hillcrest has just the right amount of charm, excitement, and adventure, and the residents are really genuine and friendly. The loves of my life are my daughter and two grandsons, Sebastian and Tobias.
